  • Without a single drop of a doubt, the United States of America have some of the most striking trees in the world. Sitting deep within the bounds of Logan Canyon in the Cache National Forest (right between the states of Idaho and Utah), the Jardine Juniper is a Rocky Mountain Juniper specimen that you are not going to forget anytime soon. While it had been erroneously deemed over 3,000 years old, testing in 1950 asserted that it is just over 1,500 years of age. Soaring at 40 metres, it has a circumference of exactly 7.2 metres. Time to go tree-hugging… in a group (wink)!
