London has quite a few fascinating Georgian estates to boast with and the renowned House of St Barnabas is most indubitably a vanguard-representative. Located at 1 Greek Street, Soho, and adorned by masterful rococo plasterwork, it was listed as a Grade I building within the Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. Throughout history, it has been used as a charity centre for those who have experienced homelessness, a haven for women, and even as a not-for-profit members’ club. Oh, and do check out the Soho and the Dickens rooms for they are quite possibly the most exquisite ones!
