  • Inaugurated in 1997 at the third Sharjah International Arts Biennial, the Sharjah Art Museum boasts a massive collection of works from Middle Eastern artists and contemporary masters from the Emirates themselves. Stretching upon 111,000 square metres of exhibition space, it is considered by many the flagship attraction of the Art Area of Sharjah. Oh, and did you know that a lot of the works pertaining to the Permanent Collections section were donated by Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the ruler of the Sharjah Emirate? Do not leave this one out!
