  • Known formerly as Parcul Trandafirilor, Rosarium, Parcul de Cultura și Odihnă “Ștefan Plavăț”, and Parcul de Cultură, Timișoara’s Park of Roses (Parcul Rozelor) was opened in 1891 together with the Park of Children (Parcul Copiilor) with the occasion of the Universal Exposition.
