  • Decorating the inner bounds of the town of Szentendre (Pest County), the Szentendre Cathedral (also known as “Belgrád-Székesegyház” or “Szentendre Székesegyház”) is the functioning core of the local Serbian Orthodox Church. Serving of the burial place of the renowned composer Vujicsics Tihamér, it has quite a few marble tombstones worth admiring. It is believed that the church was built between 1732 and 1734 but its designer is completely unknown to history. For statistics-buffs, here are its stats: 32 metres long, 14 metres wide, and 15 metres high (interior).
