Built between the years 1930 and 1932 for the first time and then rebuilt between 1962 and 1963, it adheres to the standards of the Romanesque Revival architectural style. Capable of seating more than 350 people, its solitary tower reaches an imposing height of 43 metres. Located on the liminal boundary between the old and the new sections of Belváros, it possesses a bell named after the renowned Martin Luther (Luther Márton-harang) that weighs 312 kilograms.
