  • Serving as the living-breathing core of the Archeparchy of Hajdúdorog, the Cathedral of Hajdúdorog (also known as the Greek Catholic Cathedral of the Presentation of Mary in Hajdúdorog, or the Hajdúdorogi Istenszülő Bevezetése a Templomba Székesegyház) is one of the most important buildings pertaining to the Hungarian Greek Catholic Church. Founded on 2 September 1764 and dedicated to the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the church was elevated to the rank of cathedral in 1912 by Pope Pius X. Made mostly of brick and boasting with three bells, the church reaches a height of 48 metres. Adhering to the standards of the Baroque Revival architectural style, it even houses relics from Saint Stephen (considered the patron saint of the diocese) and the Moravian hermit Clement Mary Hofbauer.
