  • Ready to explore one of the most revered cultural establishments of Brussels, Belgium? Alrighty then! Founded in the year 1846, the Museum of Natural Sciences harbours a massive total of 37 million items pertaining to the history of Planet Earth. Managed by the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, it prides itself with housing 30 fossilised Iguanodon skeletons, all discovered in Bernissart (1878). Another prized possession that you should not leave out is the Ishango bone excavated by Jean de Heinzelin de Braucourt in 1960 – an absolute jaw-dropper for people interested in anthropology. Though not exactly Jurassic Park, this place is one of the best places if you are into dinosaurs (wink)!
