  • Situated proudly upon the south-western rim of the island of Barbados, Pebbles Beach is part of the area that encompasses the local UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located just a tad north of Needham’s Point and just a little bit south of Brownes Beach, it is not pebbly (contrary to what its name suggests) – it is in fact lined with white and inviting sand. Due to its calm waters and great sea-bathing locations, it is a favourite when it comes to parents and little children. Overlooking exactly six shipwrecks, Pebbles Beach is an excellent location both for snorkelling and for SCUBA diving. Locals even go kayaking, sailing and paddle boarding in the azure waters and you can hire some of them to take you on water-trips as well!
