  • Considered the topmost art museum of the Land Down Under, the Art Gallery of New South Wales is something that should not be left out by any visitor to Sydney. Founded in 1874 and harboured by the famed Domain, it has the largest and most awe-inspiring collection in the entirety of Oceania. Famous works to keep an eye out for: Francis Danby’s “The three sisters of Phaeton weeping”, Lord Frederic Leighton’s “Cymon and Iphigenia”, Elioth Gruner’s “Spring Frost”, and many others. Oh, and let us not forget about the fact that it is completely free to visit!
